I’m Snehal!

I’m a UX/UI Designer with over 6 years of experience in IT, specializing in creating intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences for web and mobile applications.

My professional background involves designing web and mobile applications, along with websites, where I diligently follow User-Centered Design processes.

I’m well-versed in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop, using Balsamic for quick wireframing.

Over the course of my career, I’ve successfully delivered clear and user-friendly high-quality Interface Designs. I’ve also applied usability inspection methods like Heuristic Evaluation in my projects. While I haven’t solely conducted entire User Research or service blueprints, affinity mapping, I actively contributed as part of collaborative teams.

I’m familiar with working in teams using agile methodology, ensuring a streamlined and efficient design process.

Beyond UX, I’m also a watercolor and gouache artist 🎨. You’ll often find me painting birds, flowers, and seasonal scenes, some of which have made their way into calendars, cards, and ornaments. My art keeps me connected to creativity in its purest form—and often inspires my design work too.

When I’m not designing or painting, I’m exploring local markets in Halifax, reading about product thinking (books like Inspired and Continuous Discovery Habits), or enjoying long walks by the waterfront.
